Everyone has 24 hours in a day. I don’t get more hours than you and you don’t get more than me… we all get the same 24 hours! When you come to the realization that this statement is VERY true, you automatically open yourself up to a new idea.
If the statement above is true then the notion of task management is false because you can’t manage time, we all get the same 24 hours! However, there is a new way… task management. See, the only thing you can manage is the way you spend your time. That’s what I call task management.
For example, is your time being spend doing “revenue generating” activities or just “whatever comes up”? Do you have a plan in the morning (NOT A TO DO LIST!)? A plan to be productive and revenue generating is NOT a to do list… be sure you know the difference.
